Nancy Placide, PT ATC received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland in 1989. She became a Certified Athletic Trainer in 1991 and worked with the Loyola College Division I athletic teams. She has been practicing physical therapy in various outpatient sports medicine clinics in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia for over 30 years and specializes in evaluation and treatment of the foot and ankle, running injuries, and orthotic fabrication. As a former collegiate gymnast for the University of Maryland, she has a special interest in treating gymnasts and has been working with the Richmond Olympiad Gymnastics Club since 2009. Nancy is a dedicated triathlete and has competed in races ranging from sprints to half-ironman triathlons. Nancy represented Team USA in the World Triathlon Championships in Cozumel, Mexico in 2016 finishing 11th in her age bracket!
